The Face Behind Klarity Kosmetics
Every brand has a beginning. For Klarity Kosmetics, it began with a dream, a love for makeup, and a single mother determined to create a different future for herself and her son.
In 2014, MarQuita Palmer founded Klarity Kosmetics with a simple but powerful vision: to create makeup that made women who looked like her feel seen, represented, and excited about beauty.
At the time, MarQuita was a single parent and a stay-at-home mom. She was trying to figure out how to build something of her own while also having stable childcare that would allow her to care for her young son while pursuing her dreams.
MarQuita had always been very interested in makeup. She loved the creativity, the transformation, and the freedom that makeup provided. But whenever she went looking for products for herself, she often found that the shades available didn’t truly fit her complexion—or the products she loved were simply too expensive.
Instead of accepting that as the way things had to be, she decided to do something about it.
She decided to step into the beauty industry herself.
MarQuita wanted to create a brand where women who looked like her could have access to shades that actually complemented them, formulas they could feel confident in, and makeup that wasn’t just functional—it was fun.
And that vision became Klarity Kosmetics.
More Than Makeup
From the very beginning, Klarity Kosmetics has been about more than simply creating makeup.
It’s about representation, creativity, individuality, and confidence.
We believe makeup should give you the freedom to express yourself however you choose. Whether you’re creating a soft everyday look, experimenting with bold colors, reaching for a vibrant eyeshadow palette, or creating an entirely new look from your imagination, there should never be a limit to what you can create.
That’s why color is such an important part of Klarity Kosmetics.
Our collection features colorful and highly pigmented eyeshadows, unique eyeshadow palettes, pressed pigments, multichrome, duochrome, holochrome, matte, and shimmer finishes, along with other beauty products designed to inspire creativity.
Makeup doesn’t have to follow the rules.
It should be an opportunity to play, experiment, and create something that feels completely yours.
